Good Support Shoe for Cold Weather
Just wondering what other runners with motion control/support shoe needs are using in the winter. I just switched to Brooks Beasts for the winter, but I'm finding the shoe loses more cushioning below -10 C than my New Balance 854s did. Not a big deal in the snow, but on the hardpack or pavement it's a bit jarring...

Anyone have any luck finding a shoe that maintains a reasonable amount of cushioning below freezing?

All you lower left coasters can ignore this question. I know all of these shoes work better when it's 70 degrees F outside and I really, really don't want to hear about it : )

I haven't noticed any cusioning issues with my Brooks Beast, even in below freezing weather.

I have replaced the insoles in my shoes with Superfeet insoles. However, I also ran trouble-free last winter in the same model shoes without the insoles. Don't know if that is the difference or not.
