Someone should try this prank on triath-geeks: Some pseudoscientific gibberish about heart rates or aerodynamics or something ... Some one whould fall for it, I bet.

I read that story. THe funny thing is that I was involved (as a lawyer) in some Silicon Valley IPOs in the 90s, and many of the prospectuses sound exactly like that paper. We didn't understand most of it, but apparently people thought they sounded good. Another great MIT prank!
