Cycling in the Dolomites: Sports Basement Speaker Series

Join Allen Armstrong for a presentation on cycling in the Dolomites. His presentation will take you on a scenic tour of some of the most spectacular climbs the Dolomites has to offer, he will also include stories about the towns, cultures and food. Experience the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (a true kneebreaker), both sides of the Passo Stelvio (the 3rd highest pass in Europe) and many more.
Allan Armstrong has been a devoted cyclist for 27 years and a photographer for nearly as long. Having cycled in France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, England, Sweden, and Austria he is not short of great stories to tell. Not only does Allen photograph his cycling adventures he also races his bike. In 2003, Allan won the Southern California Master's District Time Trial Championships. In 2004, he placed 6th in the time trial at Master's Nationals.
