I just read about a huge cricket problem they're having out west in states like Utah and Idaho. Apprearently, they're not just a nuisance, but are destroying crops and creating slicks on roads just by sheer volume of carcasses (I've experienced this before in Northen Ohio with mayflies). Does anyone know if the area of the IMCD race is being effected?

The problem is centered in Utah and scattered about. Mild problems in Idaho... all southern Idaho. USA today showed a map last friday.
The cricket problem has not travelled this far north. I live in Spokane and have ridden the course a number of times and you can scratch crickets off of your list of things to worry about with this race.
