Appropriators say that the 2005 spending bills are "lean and clean," but Brian Riedl and Keith Miller found over 100 projects in this week's omnibus spending bill that just shouldn't be there.
Among them:
* $450,000 for the Baseball Hall of Fame
* $350,000 for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
* $347,000 for grapefruit juice research
