Bambi lives another day

And since I'm flying to NJ tomorrow and won't get back until next week, my deer season is over for the year. Bambi's safe until 2005.

Unfortunately, Thumper and his brother weren't so lucky. Got two more hares today- can't wait to make rabbit pot pie next week! Woo-hoo!

Come out to my neck of the woods. Around here, there's more deer than you could shake a stick at...they're eating my shrubs and landscape. I'm about to break out the .30-06 or a 12 ga w/a slug and filling my freezer with meat.

Come on down to Mississippi. Deer season lasts from Oct. 1 to Jan 31. I can't guarantee a wall-hanger, but putting some meat in the freezer is a pretty sure bet.
