Tri Suit Recs for my fiancee...
Quote | Reply
Can someone recommend a tri suit for a larger woman? My fiancee is interested in a tri suit, but she does not believe she'd fit in most of the usual suspects (De Soto, Zoot, etc.) Any alternatives?

Larger = tall or wide?

A one-piece or two piece?

DeSoto works for larger triathletes of both sexes.

I am not a waif thin chicky by any means...I have an LGI suit that I wore a couple of years ago and loved the comfort factor. It isn't the single most flattering thing I own, but it's not too terribly bad. I now own a pair of DeSoto shorts and a top - wore both during Silverman - that I am a huge fan of. I don't know that anything full spandexy/lycra/poly/whatever skin-tight-fabric you want will ever look super flattering on anyone with any extra storage capacity, but there are lesser offenders that have to do more with color. I say screw them all and pretty much go with comfort.
