"Marine Core": where's the outrage?
Trump tweeted: “It was my great honor to deliver a message at the Marine Core Air Station Miramar to our GREAT U.S. Military,”

I seem to remember when Obama mispronounced "Corps", and the interwebs went nuts.

Oh, how the bar for correctness has been lowered.

There's a difference between a typo and a pronunciation. And maybe we forgive Trump because he truly values our military...he doesn't just fake it on special occasions.

-He tweets a ton.
-He only tweeted that yesterday.
-It's already corrected.
-Not everyone in here has a Trump Twitter alert set on their computers, and most probably never saw it.
-Get a life.

Yeah, if it wasn't for those damn heel spurs we're sure he would have become a war hero. Like McCain.

McCain isn't hero. He was a POW. Got to live at the Hilton. At the government's expense. SAD.

Would being drafted be considered a special occasion?

Are you trolling or are you serious? And to be clear, I am referring to the "...Got to live at the Hilton. At the government's expense. Sad." part....

He is paraphrasing Trump's comments regarding John McCain.

Ah thanks, I remember Trump giving McCain grief but don't remember that particular moment.

Guffaw, apologies.

I saw the outrage. His spelling error paled in comparison to he other news making missteps yesterday.

- fires Tillerson. On Twitter.
- his personal assistant had shady financial dealings and was escorted out of the WH. Then he went to Trump's re-election campaign.
- the undersecretary for public affairs at the state department got fired for reporting how Tillerson really got fired.
- he wanted to start a "Space Force" (edit: Space Marines are the right answer.)
- he inspected is wall.
- the guy he endorsed in PA-18 got beat in district he won by 20 pts just over a year ago.

So honestly, where does the spelling mistake of a guy who has displayed the intellectual capacity of a 5 year old rank compared to all of those? There are only 24 hours in a news cycle. Yesterday was full.

No one expects him to get things right anymore. ... it is more newsworthy when he doesn't fuck something up.

Suffer Well.

What does this even mean? Are you suggesting that Obama didn't value the military? That he secretly sat in the White House wishing America just wouldn't have a military anymore? Or that the military was too ineffectual to carry out any of his foreign policy decisions? Why would anyone in control of the military then wish to undercut the military?

And as others have pointed out, Trump clearly values the military too much to sully it with his own bone spurs.

Seems to be more than enough 'outrage'. A google news search for "Trump misspells tweet" produces over 13,000 hits. The latest Corps blunder takes the top spot.

Get a dog.

All the Marines are off joining the Space Force, no time for outrage.

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.

Oh, how the bar for correctness has been lowered.

We held Obama to a higher standard. That was praise.

I don't know that I've ever used the words "Obama" and "praise" in rapid succession.

I'm a Mattis fan. I thought a lot of Kelly a year ago. But Mueller is my favorite jarhead in Washington right now.

I think he gets it about the Marine Corps based upon this quote, but it is hilarious at the same time.

I thought the whole idea of the military parade was so that he could fake it on a special occasion

Speaking of faking it, I haven't heard much from Melania lately...
