Going tonight with a group of friends. I have a mild clown phobia, but I've been peer-pressured into going.

If I don't post tomorrow, its probably because I died of a heart attack in the movie theatre.

Wife and I got our wills updated yesterday, so all is in order before we go.

I normally don't go for Horror, but it was filmed locally so I may go just to see the streets I drive on.

I read the book during Iraq1. Was scary as fuck. When the boys were younger I told them to be wary of street drains because "an evil clown" has been known to grab little kids that get too close to them. They tell me now that the story removed all desire, on their part, to stick body parts in the drains and see what was down there.

I've always been a pretty serious bookworm. Unlike 99.9% of the books over the decades, I can vividly recall every Stephen King book I ever read. When he wanted to be scary, it was so damned frightening that you recall the scenes for the rest of your life.

My daughter and I wanted to see it, but she backed, is worried it'll be too scary. She'd rather watch at home. I might go by myself, and be "that guy"

Still alive Jason?

Jason's black, or half black or something, and going to a horror movie. We all know the token black guy is always the first to get killed off in horror movies. Therefore I give him a 50/50 chance of making it out of the theatre alive.

My chances of survival were better, since I went with a bunch of lesbians. They always kill off the lesbian first, then the black guy.

Go swimming.

Playa, playa, out with the lesbians. Look at you go!

Swimming later today. It's my own personal horror movie.

We saw it Friday in Halifax, thought it was really good, really well done. I didn't find it too scary, but the 'dbox' seats made me feel queasy...
