150+ Interbike pics (NEW PHOTOS HERE)

Thanks Gary, great shots.

Does anyone think Blue is going to be the next big player in the tri market? The bike is sure nice looking, but does it perform, and what is the price point?

Come on. It can’t be that exciting. All I amlooking at is a page of little red x’s in small white squares.

Where do you even begin the discussion?

I want this one!

Yes, who is this Blue? That bike is hot. Since my dream of owning a P3SL is fast slipping away, I need to start looking elsewhere.

Googling “Blue Bicycle” was up there with the stupidest things Ive ever done - anyone have a link?

gary you rock!

what is IMG_243.jpg ? I have always like moncoque designs

what surprised me is the number of new players in the Zipp licensed wheels department. Also the number of TT bikes that have not keep up with current technology and evolution such as the P2C, the Caliente, Seduza and a few others.

All in all, sweet pics and thanks for sending/posting them

The Time and Look TT frames are pure hotness, and the HED TT frame is still badass!

Wonder why those three companies don’t get more airtime on ST.

Gary:

YOU ROCK!!! I nominate this as post of the month!! (Tom- if you do go to Vegas…this sets a high standard of what we “expect” of you!!)

Coolest/most interesting finds:

  1. Zipp disc in clincher with aluminum rim

  2. Frischi’s world champ MTB using Dugast tubulars glued to 650c carbon rims laced to disc hubs

  3. The SRAM road group does not really exist, I am convinced, c’mon, one set and it’s behind glass?

  4. Orbea has the coolest paint

  5. The Litespeed Vortex Compact is the coolest road bike I saw, the tube designs are so unique

  6. There is a Cervelo R3 carbon road bike as well, with a HUGE downtube, carbon

  7. The P2 Carbon is probably the hottest new “affordable” Tri bike I saw, it just smokes everything out there but the P3C. The Scott Plasma is a close second.

yep, Shimano Compact cranks

and we sell compact Q-Rings to fit!

I agree about the Time frame, but I don’t much care for the Look frames. Both seem to be pretty slack, and that goes against what some think is proper angles for triathlon. That may be the reason for the lack of buzz around here.

That is pure sensory overload! Thanks for sharing

First there was Simplon Pride:

Then there was Cervélo Soloist Carbon:

And now Litespeed Pavia:

Which bike manufacturer will make the next Simplon Pride look alike?

The P2C and Corima Tri Spokes and the Blackwell bars…caught my eye…

And the FSA Carbon chainrings…

Fastest bike at Interbike is a BMW with Mavic wheels (on the rear): http://www.socalttseries.com/interbike-2005/images/img_0208.jpg
.

I will have a Blackwell bar in 30-45 days

Will have pics and reviews here
