You forgot the best, if not most poorly-focused, photo! Pack-feeding behavior in the wild...
Now I'm going to have to go and do a little photo shoot too. I think I'll wait until I cut my steerer tube down to avoid that critique. At least I replaced that awful stem and dropped the bars.
As for the weight comments... I weighed mine with pedals and EA90SLX wheels @ 14lb 3oz. My wheels are supposed to be 200g heavier than AlpineGoat's 303's. I have Red versus his Dura-ace, which makes up some of the difference... and speedplays. I bet he didn't have his carbon cages on at first weigh-in, but I still agree he was likely under 15. Once we recover from sixgaps we'll have to do some more computrainin and I'll get them both on the scale for some better data. I will say that all the ones I've seen on weightweenies etc in the 11-13lb range usually have a full complement of esoteric superlightweight pieces from companies like ax-lightness, tune, etc. I'll likely pick up little ancillary parts of that caliber (or calibre, as it often is), but I don't know I'll be making the jump to brake replacement, the $800 stem (actually 800 euros), a $900 crankarm, or any of those major mods. I also would like to stay on clinchers, which will keep me out of the ultralight realm.
