I might have to try it. I wonder if they added this:

* Ability to not suck.

I know their last version didn't have it.

Based upon my first 15 minutes of playing with it, it still sucks.

Initial impressions:

1) They fixed it so it can actually deal with a lot of data points. (first time I've been able to see my IM data)
2) Why can't you sort your history into "run" "bike" "other" "multisport" like is the default on the PC?
3) The new graphs are kind of cool
4) Still an amazing feat of software engineering to take the mac UI and make it so crappy in an app.

It also collapses multiple workouts from multiple days into the same day in
some random way. (I even make sure to "reset" so that they don't get
saved as multisport, but evidently to no avail).

Such behavior may be why it's still 'beta'.

you can sort your history into "run" "bike" "other etc.. previous version(non beta) I had that problem mainly my history got so big when I tried to each activity(click with mouse move down to run or bike or whatever folder you created on the left) but when the history got where if filled the page it wouldn't scroll as I was trying to move the activity so never could move it down.
the beta seems to have corrected that so you now can move them. still not sure how you delete from the overall history top level once its moved though.
Beta is better than previous but still needs work for sure. Still lots better than the pc version in the fact its not cramming the history into some giant db file that keeps growing and growing and growing and one day it gets corrupted and thats it now everythings saved as tcx files at least so you can rebuild.
I still use topofusion to view things under windows on my mac but for quick looks this will do.

I'd believe that too if I hadn't seen so much of stuff that looks like beta staying
there for years. :)

I'm not seeing that. Maybe it's the call at 0040 that work needs help,
but I can't see how I can sort at all via a menu item or alternate mouse
buttons.

How do I make it so all runs are grouped together or all bike, etc...

On my version both previous and the new beta theres window on the lef says activities
then My activities folder under that is History listing all the workouts.. if they aren't expanded click my activities then history.
in addition to my activities theres running then history and bike then history.
So just click and hold on one of the activities under the my activities and slide it down to bike or run they each have an icon by them with bike or a runner.
Now I'm having problem I've created one called swimming (file new folder) but some reason can't make another sub file for history or move anything into it just yet guess will have to play with it.

Another problem is it still leaves the activities in the my activities folder but just collapse it and you don't see it should be a way to clear that.
Too bad this can't be automated.
