Does the direto hold a calibration after being powered down?


Recently purchased an direto. After I calibrate the direto, if I load up trainer road, I am not able to use the direto in ERG mode. However, if I power off --> on the direto after calibration I am able to use it in ERG mode. I am not sure if 1) I am doing something wrong, 2) the calibration data is stored in ROM vs. RAM.
