Holy shit, dude!!! I'm gonna play the fuck out of that
I always tried to instill a "No Bowie Covers" rule in my bands, because unless you fucking nail it, you're just being sacrilegious [and we always sucked], but you guys got that one right
Great job

I can imagine
Plus, not having Robert Fripp to do that insane guitar work, you came up with a decent Plan B
At first, with just the guitar & drum clicks, I was suspicious, then your voice & echo come in and sound so ... Iggy
I could tell by the profile, it was gonna jump and ... WOW!!!
Again, great work by you & the crew; can't believe I never listened to any of your links before? I suck

As great as Bowie was, he also had some really shitty songs. And sometimes those songs were the popular ones. Heroes is one of them.

Well done! I thoroughly enjoyed your rendition and I'm old enough to remember listening to the original ;-)

@RandMart
You are brave to admit your -- umm -- failures. Anyway, I'm glad you are excited. Please be aware that Alabama has dibs on The Seatbelts roadshow long before Philly or where ever the heck you live.
If you mail me your name, a brief statement of interest, $1.99, and a self-addressed postage paid envelope, I will be glad to consider you for inclusion to The Seatbelts Unofficial Fan Club.
@Mustangchef
Great recording. And pretty much what RandMart said. If you give me the word, I'll accept him into the fan club.

It doesn't really matter what Phil is saying, the music of his voice is the appropriate soundtrack for a bicycle race. HTupolev

Damn those 1st 2 are cringeworthy
Watched the "The Last 5 Years" documentary on HBO tonight. Interesting persepctive on his final, well... 5 years. Never a huge Bowie fan but still find his passing incredibly sad, for some reason.
Re-Bump, for David

I don't think I've told this before
When I was in High School, I wrote [AND Directed AND Co-Starred] in a one-act play inspired by this song. It was a post-apocalyptic teenage romance [long before those were cool/marketable], wherein the boy & girl were granted, by alien powers - who just wanted this WWIII shit to stop [their interest in this was never fully explored] - a weapon of such force, these kids could change the world, save mankind, and live happily ever after
Truth was: She was hot, we loved Bowie, I wrote great dialogue, and I/we leveraged this so we got to make out
