I wouldn't take much notice of that, I'm almost certain Holland is out for the rest of the year.

What's the Rotterdam course like?

I've heard the bike has some technical spots and cobblestones, with separate locations for T1 and T2.

The AG bike course has almost 30 90- or 180-degree turns. Technical is an understatement. Plus, there is a small cobblestone section. Drafting in the Sprint race will be a challenge with all the turns. The Athlete's Guide has detailed information on the bike course.

The run course is almost as bad. It's like running in a bowl of spaghetti.

I'm almost wondering if my road bike might be a better choice for the Olympic given how technical it looks... will be taking the SC though and letting the chips fall where they may. Definitely going to try to get into one of the course pre-rides though!
