Thank you. I have a 920 and zero luck unless mounted on my frame (pretty useless). So I went and got the new wahoo head unit and it's perfect. Doesn't matter where it's mounted, no drop outs.. I think it's because it's using Bluetooth not ant+.

So use this as a warning if looking at stages PM. Yes they work and are inexpensive in comparison to many other PM but it may cost you in the end if you need to buy a new head unit at 300+ just to see your power

It seems as though any head unit with dual band functionality (ability to connect to the PM via Bluetooth) works just fine. Does anyone on here know if Garmin have plans to roll this tech out in the edge series?

I too have had success with Stages across a variety of head units...but another one you could consider is the Stages Dash. One would at least hope that one would work well with a Stages PM! :)
