Hi folks,

For those with BMC tm02s, how tall are you and which size do you have?

Thanks a lot!

I'm 5'9" and have a 2017 BMC TM02 medium-long. Depends on leg to torso ratio as someone the same height could easily fit on medium-short.

2017 races: St. George 70.3 May 6 | Madison 70.3 June 11 | IM Zurich July 30 | Chicago Marathon October 8

170cm about 5'7 I think. Short legs.
I just got a 2017 tm02 in a small.
I think the reach is longer on the small than on the medium-short

interesting.

i am 5'9" and have a 31.5" inseam and my LBS sold me a M-S TM02. got it fit and all but first ride out on the roads was nigh impossible due to instability on the front end - knees were practically coming up to touch my elbows and wobbling the front wheel with every stroke.

did i dun goof?

A fitter put me on a medium long tm02 with a 130 stem and I could barely keep thing that in a straight line. The handling was awful and I just kept telling myself it was normal because it was my first true tri/tt bike. After the fork steerer cracked and they replaced the entire frame, I went to the large with a 110 stem and it handles great. No adjustments to the bars because the frame stack and reach was 20mm longer and a spacer taller. The kicker, I'm only 6' but rode steep and am mostly upper body.

I'm 5'9.5 and the M-S fits me like a glove...if I had to, I would probably go to S before M-L...

Re the TM02 - why the huge price discrepancy between the 105 and Di2? In Australia the 105 is AUS$3700, but the Di2 version is $7000! Only difference is Di2 and wheels.

In the US, Di2 is more like $6k and those wheels are ~$1k alone. Other than that, not much difference.

Are the stack and reach numbers in the database still accurate?

M-S 515/377
M-L 515/418
L 556/442

They kept the same placement as the 01, which has it that far back to allow for the quick-disconnect cables feature.
