Chattanooga is a great host city and the course is lots of fun. Atlanta is a little over an hour south so you have a lot of people that sign up quickly with it so close to home.Yep, I live in Atlanta and have done this race both years. It's close enough that you could drive in & out, but such a great venue that you don't want to. Also, between Atlanta, Chatt, and Nashville athletes, this one is taken over by "locals"
