Not sure about the HED but I'm using 3T 22.2mm extensions on the original Zipp Vuka clip that I think are quoted as 22.0mm. No issues for me. Might be worth trying 22.2mm extensions as it is a more common size. I'm really not sure how 0.2mm is enough to make a difference, it would really on both the clamp and extensions to be machined perfectly. If you can get a 22.2mm extension to fit then go for it.

thank you. The vuka aero have those odd collettes to hold the extensions. I've tried my profile design 22.2mm extensions and they wont fit. i may have more luck with another brand but from a practical perspective i can't buy them without a reasonable level of confidence. i do have some 22.2 vuka clips so the alternative for me is to get a new base bar and use the vuka clips with any 22.2 extensions.
