Not doing the race but loved PR pre-hurricane. Not sure what to expect now. Some pretty awesome food if you care to venture out and savor the area. The Fort is very cool and the architecture is really bright colored and interesting. I always wanted to do the race, (even after a friend was shot one year!) but the entry fee seemed way too high for that race. It's a very neat destination. Maybe someone who has been there for it will chime in....

I raced it last year. I thought it was awesome and would like to go back when things are more settled. Last year the roads were in bad shape, I'd probably leave your superlight race tires at home and go with something 4000s-ish. Man, that run is sooooo hard, very hilly and hot, but pretty cool nonetheless.
