can/ should I?
last year end of may I did my first 70.5 (5:40) did some 1/4 and then the Mallorca 70.3 in october (6:00- grilling heat and horrible run). then took it easy for a while. My plan was to do the same race again (now on the 3rd of june). BUT I have not been able to train at all since beginning december; flu and hip injury. Do I have enough time to prepare till the 3rd of june? I can dedicate around 8 / hours a week for traning. I am 45...

thanks

you don't mention what kind of race you are planning on 03. June (another 70.3? seem to be plenty of them around that date, might be Kraichgau if you are in Europe?), but if you are now healthy and your hip injury is 100% healed, I don't see a reason why not? Take the rest of February and the whole March to slowly and gradually increase your training from 0 to 8 hours per week, and then you can get 2 months of solid training in before the event. Don't expect a top result, but to finish a 70.3 in style these 4 months are more than enough.
