Lead Swede (wife) and I just went to Toronto for a few days and we took your advice and visited the Steamwhistle Brewery. Was really great and so is their beer. http://steamwhistle.ca/tour/tourInfo.php

We also went up the CN Tower and had lunch in the rotating restaurant which "only cost" a mere $170. for a salmon dish, salad and a beer. Fortunately that's CDN dollars and must admit the food was excellent despite the price and the view up in the clouds was great. Also went to the Ripley's Aquarium and it was also great, especially for us as experienced scuba divers. But the best advice I'll give anybody is don't go to the Ontario Science Centre on March Break. Way, way too many kids everywhere. But is was good as I hadn't been up the CN Tower or to the Science Centre for over twenty years.

Yes Steam Whistle is awesome.

The view from the tower must have sucked, everything is brown.

I am on my last night in Munich. Can't wait to be home.

You're in Munich? Why are you in such a hurry to come home? But then I guess its not October. :-) Steamwhistle Pilsner is modeled after the German brews, and is recognized as holding its own.

It's modeled after Czech Pilsner. Didn't you listen on the tour?

I am enjoying the Weissbier but I miss my family. Ready to see them again.

My bad. I forgot that it was Czech. I was thinking of the German beer purity laws that allow only four ingredients which was mentioned on the tour..

I have two kids (9 and 11) and I'd never take them to the Science Center on March Break. You're very brave.

Instead of there, I would have tried the ROM. It would be busy too, but less so than the Science Center. The AGO is good too, if you're coming back at any point.

I am amazed that he found a parking spot. Probably in the far lot.
