I like Batman, too, and I go all the way back to the 60s campy television show with Adam West and Burt Ward, but enough already with the Christopher Nolan trilogy, for the love of God. ;-)

Yeah, don't you guys know that all these Dark Knight threads are pushing bullshit meaningless political hackery threads off the front page? Enough already! Let's get back to the constant stream of endless babbling discussion about how Pres Obama is an evil communist Muslim who probably isn't an American (maybe not even human), and is definitely to blame for all of your woes.

No, I don't know any of that and if you notice, I didn't jump in any of those Dark Knight/Bane = Bain Capital and Mitt Romney" threads so that should tell you something right there. I'm just saying one Dark Knight thread is cool, and I followed it. Even another one was alright. But a third one and beyond...that just constitutes fanboydom of the worst order. I don't know about you, but I don't tend to look at movies (I didn't say "cinema," or "film") as anything other than their worth as an entertaining diversion, not as some sort of social commentary (except for the blatantly obvious, like anything by Michael Moore, for instance), including those made by Christopher Nolan, an auteur (apparently) of the best sort.

Well there is probably more factual information in your post than false information. We will never know though :). The good news is that it doesn't matter who wins the Presidential election, we will only deviate from the current path be a few seconds of a minute of a degree of angle anyway. We are on a course that will be almost impossible to change. Our rudder just isn't big enough to miss the iceberg (think Titanic).
