Is it against the rules to race without a jersey (shirt) in a USAT sanctioned race?

Is your question directed at female or male racer?

For WTC (Ironman) and Rev3 events you have to wear a top.

For your local Olympic or Sprint they generally don't care.

Best thing to do is just check with the race director, I believe it is up to them to decide.

There are lots of both I wouldn't want to see topless.

Are you sure about the top for Rev3 events? I just say a notable athlete w/o a top in the Portland video.

No problem. Just make sure you flex at the finish line.

Oh and don't crash like my bro did last weekend at a sprint. Full back covered in road-rash that would have mostly been saved with a jersey.

Thanks for the advice.

Always a chance of crashing on this short curvy city course.

For what it's worth, it's legal for women to go topless in public in New York State.

I'm just sayin'.

Had a local race director (sprint tri w/pool swim) kick a participant out of the race because he wouldn't return to T1 to put a shirt on. He was also wearing a speedo and an aero helmet.

It legal to be topless and bottomless in Portland, OR. Yes it happens. As long as you are naked for reasons that are not sexual, go for it. In general, the ones you want to see naked aren't.

Heck we have a naked bike ride each year. But that is really not an activity that I have a ton of desire to do naked. That says a lot, cause I hate clothes. I like my padded bike shorts.

If you do do it, dont do it with a Adamo or cob. Although that could alleviate the problem of how and where to pee on the bike :0)

Will this be a game changer for Specialized, in both sales and product design, or will it not move the sales and design needle versus those in Specialized's competitive set?
