I haven't been to minks, but considering it was a major com-bloc port and most of the former Soviet Union is a shit hole with a few oasis of foreign and corrupt money, why not. Though based on what I have read and my sole experience in Detroit, I would walk through any European city at night but not Detroit or Newark. In otherwords, the only think I could possibly compare those two american cities to are armpits or assholes.
