Read about that this weekend. If the part about Paterno is true - I only wish that he had lived long enough for him to see the disgust that people have for him.

As to the others, lock them away. I wonder how much it will cost to settle the lawsuits are will soon be coming.

What the hell is this? It seems legit overall, but that makes it seem fishy. Who goes to CNN and says "hey, I have a bunch of digital files nailing this guy, but I can't send them and will read them over the phone"? And CNN just goes "oh yah, that's just a-okay".

I'm not defending Spanier et al; however, hasn't a major theme of Desperate Housewives been a large group cover-up of a murder? I haven't seen much outrage about it. In fact most people I know seem to be all over the place with regards to whether they would participate in such a thing. It's good TV because people can identify with the dilemma. I'm not really a believer, but the saying "there but for the grace of God go I" seems to have some relevance here.

It's not the grace of god that keeps people from participating in the kind of filth that the folks at Penn State helped cover up. It is basic human decency and morality.
