Poweragent - "Edit user" functionality does not work Quote | Reply
Hello,

I am currently using "PowerAgent 7.5.5.41"

Neither double-clicking on the user name, nor clicking on the "Edit User" button will open the pop-up window which allows e.g. to set up your Powerzones.

Is anyone encountering the same problem?

Yes -- ever since I installed JRE 7 u3(?), PowerAgent no longer works for me. I get an error if I try and edit a user / look at a workout.

This even happened on a brand-new install of Windows 7 SP1 / clean install of PowerAgent

Thanks for letting me know! Seems to me that the reason is really IT and not user related :-)

Have you found a solution or tried to contact Saris/Cyleops customer support?

I can't edit users in the new version either. I sent a message to Customer Service about it. Will post here with any resolution.

Yes, I went round about 8 times with cyclops customer support on this back with v7.3. I tried 7.5.x betas, which never worked for me. The only solution that did work was uninstalling JRE v7 and going back to v6.

But that solution has other problems - known vulnerabilities. I'm really not happy with Cycleops on this issue, as they knowingly released a version of PowerAgent that did NOT work with the latest version of JRE.

And yes, I can confidently make this statement as I tested not publicly available beta builds of v7.5.x, and none of the builds worked with JRE v7u3+

YouYou,

Thanks for the heads-up. I can now edit my user profile, but I can still not look at any of my activities. If I double-click on a past activity, I get an error saying "no such column: 'Calculate_Level'"

Hopefully one day Cycleops will fix the bugs.
