2008 Hed Stinger 90 Wheelset for sale. The rear is laced with Sapim CX-Ray spokes. The front is laced with Aero Ti spokes. These are SRAM/Shimano cassette. Because they are the older set they will fit in more frames without the issues of the newer Hed wheels. It is still a wide full toroidal rim but not quite as wide as the new stinger 9. The brake track is 25 mm and the fattest part of the rim is 28mm.

I bought these here last January and only used them for racing. For full disclosure (which I didn't get when I bought them), there is a spoke nipple loose inside the rear rim. You'll hear it rolling your bike to transition but if you hear it riding you need to be going faster. Obviously all the spokes are secured with nipples. This one just fell in when the wheels were laced.

I am also including the glued on Continental 4000 tubular tires that are the only tires that have ever been on these wheels as well as the original HED skewers.

Price is $725 for the pair. I'll include a Wheelbuilder wheel cover and a spare tubular tire!
