It was my first syracuse experience and a good one. That course was great. Will be enticed to come back again
I was told that the run course was new this year and definitely harder than last year. But I think you are correct and the extra slots drew more racers. It brought me up from FL to get to Vegas.
I was 4th in M40-44 at 4.35 this year and that time would have won it over past few years.
But I also think that the older age groups are gettin stronger too.
Heck 45-49 won it sub 4.30. That's flying.

Big fun of the day was the bike descent. I hit 54.7 mph. Now that was fun
