Selling my Look 496 Tri frame (frame with integrated fork/Ergo stem and seat post). This is an awesome bike and I loved it so much that I bought the new 596 (which is quite expensive, but everyone needs a vice in life right?!). Yes, the 596 is a bit lighter (not as much as you would think), and yes, the 596 is slightly more aero (but keep in mind that the 496 is still a very aero bike!), but I really do think that the 496 might be slightly stiffer... ALL your energy is perfectly transported to the back wheel and generates speed. This is one fast bike (the bike never limited me...) :-)

It has been raced on (both tri's, du's and TT's), but is in very good shape. The clear "tape" on the seat stay came off, so that was replaced with a "carbon fiber look" tape.

The adjustability of this frame is absolutely amazing! The seat post has +/-30mm of fore/aft (and Look does say the seat post is reversible, but I haven't figured that out... so assume it's not), the Ergo stem allows you to adjust reach and height to fit your current fitness, race distance, comfort level, etc etc etc. Basically, you can change to a much more aggressive position for shorter races and TT's and adjust it to a more comfortable position for longer races (yes, I've done this and it works extremely well!).

The frame is a size small, but Look's geometry for their tri bikes are very different, so it's a VERY large small. I'm just over 5'8" and you still have lots of movement up with this frame (and a little down, but as much).

This is a $3999MSRP frame, and you can still find NOS for $2400, so what about $1600? I will listen to any offers as I much rather see the frame set PR's for others as it did for me. :-)

It's the complete frame set, so frame with integrated fork/headset/adjustable ergo stem, and the seat post. I think I may have an FSA compact crank that I could include as well
