Looks much like the King mount. Solid design. I'd probably just zip tie the cage to start, and look for a mount if the zip ties don't work for some reason.

The next project is how to mount the Garmin.

It's the same as the King but comes with a riser setup in case the angle of the stem requires the cage to be up high a bit

As a total unscientific aside, was talking to the guys at speedfil, they were at the A2 tunnel testing aerobar setups, they asked to test stem mounts. They didn't have a mount, so duct taped a cage on the stem. According to them, even more watts were saved with the stem mount, something about breaking up the eddy in front of the chest.

They make PVC with the same OD as your extensions. Cut a piece the right length to fit between your bars wherever you want your Garmin to be, secure is with a zip tie on each side, then zip tie (or rubber band) your Garmin quick release to that. Here's an old pic (showing a FR305 quick release)...
