You all have a great time. I have been visiting Silver City since the mid 80's and I love that area. Being a flat lander never had the nerve to ride out there, although thinking about bringing MTB next time out.
Have fun

I was thinking of being out there so you could crush me, but starting a new job a few days ago figured not a good idea to miss a whole week.
My wife will be out there though, her fast national level race. She will be a guest rider on the Landis/Trek team, P1/2 race.

If anyone needs a good warmup for Gila, Hammerfest is not too far away in Texas this weekend. Two days, 3 stages, uphill road bike only time trial! Goes up the fort davis observatory road, highest paved road in the state.
http://www.hollandracing.net/...bid/875/Default.aspx
I'll be there in the 4/5

Silver city not known for its fine dining. Though there are some decent lunch places.
There used to be a Mexican place back in the neighborhoods south of motel 6 called El Paisano- owned by a Mexican motorcycle gang family. Ws really good- had a dish called the BBQ plate.
Closed last time I was in Silver- they must have all gone to the joint.

Will this be a game changer for Specialized, in both sales and product design, or will it not move the sales and design needle versus those in Specialized's competitive set?
