I'm lusting over a 2012 Fuji D6 1.0...it fits me perfect. I saw Fuji team star Sarah Haskins riding an all black version at Lifetime Fitness Miami and yesterday at St Anthony's she was on a matte black version with white lettering. SO hot. The Fuji website doesn't have these and my local dealer says Fuji is NOT offering them. Anybody know if this is true???? Or is there hope for me to get my all black or black/white dream bike!!!!

This link shows the matte black/white frame really well. Good overview of her bike and equiment choice as well. I wish more pro's would do this.

I'm looking at the Fuji 2012 print catalog right now and it has the matte black D6 as a Special Edition frameset only (the 'D6' lettering is white, the Fuji logos are a slightly glossier black than the rest of the frame). They also have the Altamira, SL, SST and Supreme shown in the same finish.

In 2009, Rock Racing had some unbranded naked D-6's, as well as the regular ones. I think the gloss black ones were a prototype or something then. Not that it helps in locating one for sale now in any way. Just thought I'd share.

shameless d6 plug ..... I love mine. I am long-torso short leg type and it fits me beautifully. I also have two serottas (custom fit / custom build) and I love those as well, but the Fuji is my race bike. I used my Serotta fit #s to dial in the D6.

I got the base D6 and upgraded the handlebars and cranks.

brakes suck but for a time trial bike who cares.

Gearing, SRAM Rival is okay (I have Dura Ace and Ultegra on my Serottas). For a time trial bike -- Rival is just fine

I wish more manufacturers offered a 'naked' frame with no stickers. I love my Trek, but it's so ridiculously covered in decals/paint that it's dizzying. That Fuji is sexy just all nekkid.
