In a shocking move my parents have agreed to watch the kiddies for an overnight night (kids are 5 and 3, this is the first time they have agreed to do this) and I was thinking of surprising my wife and getting tickets to see DMB at the Bethel Performing Arts Center in late June. The problem is the review for seemingly every hotel in the area begins with "Most disgusting place ever" and as far as I can tell all the B & Bs have two night minimums. Seeing as I don't want to stay in a dump and my parents will only agree to one night, any American Zofingener's or others familiar with Sullivan County point me to some decent lodging within about 30 minutes?

Bump - if you don't get replies here, you might want to try the main board. Lots of AmZof'ers there.

When I did the race, we rented a big lodge that was quite hilarious - stuffed animals on the walls and all. Wouldn't recommend it, but I'm sure someone local will have a good place for you. Enjoy!
