How to cope with the anxiety of waiting a New Bike?? Quote | Reply

I sold my 2010 P3, and I'm waiting for my new super bike to arrive.......I order it about a month ago.....but I still have to keep waiting!
How do I deal with my anxiety??? Any sugestions?
I'm buying spare parts to customize it....which makes the waiting even worse....haahaa

Sounds like it's time for a bit of a run focused block or perhaps swim focus or both. That ought to take your mind off the bike;)

I hope this isn't a real question. If it is, take a Xanex.

I mis-read the title. I thought it was "anxiety of WANTING a new bike"

my bad.

I was going to say don't stress it, just buy one. I see you already did. But don't let that stop you, you can make it to the LBS today ;) I got rid of my car and the first thing I did was buy a new bike. Because you know, out of the 4 bikes I currently own, none of them are appropriate for commuting to work. Really. I swear.

That said I commuted to work today on my road bike, yesterday I took the mtb. Neither optimal for commuting performance. (I take a train part of the way) So Im anxiously awaiting my new folding bike to arrive!

I am in the same situation. I ordered my bike about 2 mos ago and still not here. Delivery was delayed twice so far so I am starting to lose hope I will have it by my fist HIM this season in June.
Going crazy and just keep waiting for that phone call.

I just went through it.....it was tough.

My wife thought I was absolutely nuts and fanatical. No one know how important this sport is to us, unless you are part of it and do it yourself.

We have the best sport on the planet, and ride the coolest equipment :)

The New Specialized Wind Tunnel
Will this be a game changer for Specialized, in both sales and product design, or will it not move the sales and design needle versus those in Specialized's competitive set?
Yes, Game Changer

Won't budge the needle
