#2 clippers all over every 2 weeks...cutting my own hair is a huge time saver and money saver as I bought my clippers for 20-30 bucks 2 years ago

I have a vague recollection of being able to grow hair on my head.

I use to have a buzz-cut (Bic to #4) for about 20 years. In Nov. of 2010, I decided to start growing my hair for a wig. I'd been sitting with my mom in her chemo teartments and finally decided I could do something for somebody. My mom passed away last May, but I'm still growing my hair. It's a past the shoulders and I like it. My work ( I'm a fireman ) doesn't like it. Actually the guys I work with like it, but Admin. hates it.

Both long and short (male)

Short: felt better in the pool and on the run and in a helmet (100% of the time)

Long: Looked better in the pool, and on the run and in a helmet (100% of the time)

Precisely. And therefore, it's long.

Good to see some of the other side here as well! I'm actually quite sad that I cut my hair, but it was for professional reasons (job interviews and the like) and practical reasons (my hair is like a thermal cap in all seasons, which is great in the winter but horrible in the summer).

I get four haircuts a year so my hair goes from short/medium to medium/long each season. I know it's getting time to get it cut when the hair in back starts to flip up after I ride my bike. I'm thankful I still have plenty of hair at 53 because I wouldn't look good with a buzz cut.

female, long hair (a little past my shoulderblades). i had short hair for years, but got lazy about cutting it and just sort of ended up with long hair. no desire to go back, though; a ponytail gets it out of my way quickly, but i leave it down at the office. for racing, long training days and other "i don't want to fuss with it at all today" situations i braid it - i can usually leave a pair of braids in for 3-4 days if i have to (camping/motorcycle touring), and it stays out of the way.

for riding the trainer, a claw-style hair clip keeps it up off the back of my neck and only takes about 3 seconds:

can also quickly do a fairly nice-looking up-do with the above in a minute or two that works well for dressy occasions.

cheers!

The New Specialized Wind Tunnel
Will this be a game changer for Specialized, in both sales and product design, or will it not move the sales and design needle versus those in Specialized's competitive set?
