Question for Rapp - Prepping Tubulars for training and racing

i've been having a lot of punctures lately and im looking for a solution that won't cause more drag and won't harm the rolling resistance of the tire.
I remember reading something that Jordan once wrote about him prepping the tubular for training and racing-what exact materials do you put inside the tubs?
can you please describe the stages of applying them to the tire?

i have a crazy idea for ya:
some cheap clincher wheels with gatorskins to train on, and then race on pristine tubular rubber that isn't likely to flat because it hasn't been worn out in training?

use tough tubulars.I love riding on Vittoria Pave 24's.Good enough for Paris -Roubais-probably good enough for you.Also a very comfortable ride.Well glued tubulars are tough to remove and once removed,an unglued tubular is worrisome if there are significant descents.Why not use a proven tough tire even if it MAY be a bit slower??

Just buy one can of Vittoria pit stop and don't worry about it. You could always put Stans in it, but Pit Stop works like a charm.

"I'd also suggest trying sealant for the tacks. That might have worked. 50% stan's & 50% automotive slime seems to be the magic combo for tubulars. I put about 30ml in each tire. I actually put on a new rear tire for Calgary (and IMC), and I cut open the old one. The slime/stan's mix was still liquid. I last put the mix in for Abu Dhabi." Quote from Rappstar

That may mean something we you have a team car behind you but rolling resistance means nothing when you standing on the side of the road.
Jordan using the 50/50 mix as well as a pitstop (or smililar brand) for extra help. It's the set up I'm going to use in zofingen this year with new tubs glued on just before leaving. When I glue tubs the dont come off easy at all and I do not want to be bombing down those descents with an unglued tub.
