top gear's jeremy clarkson has just written an editorial gushing about copenhagen - he reckons it's such a great city because it's a bike-friendly city.

if he can be convinced, who can't?!

Are we SURE this wasn't an April Fool's joke? The article is dated the 10th and says Clarkson's article appeared in "last weekend’s Sunday Times". Sunday, April 1st or Sunday, April 8th? Could he be taking everyone for a ride... :)

Doesn't sound like he's a bike lover, just thinks that a bike based city is preferable to a car/bike mix.

one thing is wrong in this article. i live here and on every major road is a separated bike lane that is good enough to ride with your tt on until you get out of the urban areas. they are right about the danish girls though :-)

I have heard stories of them and hope too see this for myself when I come to Roskilde in a couple of months.. :)

Any slowtwitchers going and planning to do the naked race? Probably will be a sausage fest, but when do you get the opportunity to do that otherwise! Denmark sounds like a great place!

(now - should I shave higher this year because of this?!)
