top gear's jeremy clarkson has just written an editorial gushing about copenhagen - he reckons it's such a great city because it's a bike-friendly city.

Are we SURE this wasn't an April Fool's joke? The article is dated the 10th and says Clarkson's article appeared in "last weekend�s Sunday Times". Sunday, April 1st or Sunday, April 8th? Could he be taking everyone for a ride... :)

Doesn't sound like he's a bike lover, just thinks that a bike based city is preferable to a car/bike mix.

one thing is wrong in this article. i live here and on every major road is a separated bike lane that is good enough to ride with your tt on until you get out of the urban areas. they are right about the danish girls though :-)

I have heard stories of them and hope too see this for myself when I come to Roskilde in a couple of months.. :)

Any slowtwitchers going and planning to do the naked race? Probably will be a sausage fest, but when do you get the opportunity to do that otherwise! Denmark sounds like a great place!

(now - should I shave higher this year because of this?!)
