Here is mine. 2011 Cdale Slice that I picked up brand new for $1400. I am going to upgrade my base bar to the PD Svette bar, upgrade my brakes to Ultegra and swap out my shifters to Vision Metron and brake levers to carbon. I am still trying to figure out what crank to switch to.
Yes, I know the chain is in the small ring. I didn't pay attention to this before snapping the picture.
Nice Slice :) Feel free to ignore my following $0.02......
Those upgrades, whilst making your rig perhaps smoother and a little lighter, won't entirely make it faster. *If I were you* I'd spend my money on a power meter and a disc cover. AFTER that, I'd upgrade to a more aero cockpit on which I could nail my fit (the svet is nice, but the PD clip ons aren't too light/aero/nice). FSA crank does the job. I'd slap on an aero chainring before changing it out. THe microshift shifters do the job nicely so I would leave them there until they bust or something.. Brakes? the same. ultegra brakes wouldnt give you much more stopping power and certainly arent more aero. If I were putting money into brakes, I'd look at the tririg omega ones. brake levers? if i had money to burn, i guess.

Thanks for the feedback. I love my PD T3...they may not be the most aero, but my position is dialed in based on my retul fit and i can stay in the extenstions for a whole ride now. The base bar was purely cosmetic. I will try the aero ring and have been kicking around a power tap and disc...we have a lot of wind here in Texas so I have been hesitant on getting a disc.

Here's the trusty Lucero with her new 88mm Chinese carbon clinchers. I love this bike, but I just saw a similar color schemes CD01 at a local shop that was gorgeous. Good thing I don't have any money after booking flight, hotel, and TBT for Louisville in August.

I wouldn't normally say this, but those wheels need some stickers.

They were $570 shipped from a seller called Blade X via AliExpress.com. I got my 50mm set from them and they were great for both IMAZ and an Olympic race I did on them before selling. These appear to be just as good. True out of the box and pretty flawless construction.

Nice ride. I agree with the basebar change as the stock no name basebar on there is not very aero at all and I understand your comment in response to another poster's .02 is that you want the PD Svette basebar for the look. You gotta like the look of what you ride and the Svette will give it some missing "bling." Don't waste your money on new brakes. It's a triathlon bike for God's sake. How much braking do you plan on doing? Are the stock bar end shifters not shifting well? If not, I can understand the desire to switch. The carbon brake levers will add some bling to the cockpit so if you have money to blow, I am onboard. I am not sure a crankset switch will gain you much. Save some of the money you were going to spend in swap outs and put it towards a powertap. BTW, I am not digging the Wedgie as I think it takes away from the overall beauty of the Slice. just my .02

The brake levers and base bar are primarily going to be for looks, but the Vision Metron shifters will allow me to keep my arms/wrists in the same position for the whole ride. As for the brakes, that upgrade is by far last on my list. I am leaning away from upgrading the crank and just upgrade to an FSA TT ring. I just need to clean up the cable routing some, but I figure I would wait on that until I upgrade my base bar. As for the Wedgie I love it. The functionality is great. I can keep the weight of my flat kit down low and it is extremely easy to use.

Don't you just love the pinstriping colour? Makes it look kinda like a light cycle from Tron. By far the best scheme out of all of the frames.

Just finished getting the bike ready for its first race of the season on Saturday. Sold my Zipps at the end of last season to just use my Powertap with a wheelcover and I have to say its awesome. Definitely excited to ride it.

Have same Lucero frame. Building now. Looks great. What do you have on it? I'd say get some custom decals to match the green/yellow on the frame.

It's a budget build for sure, but has worked great for the 2 years I've had it. Bought the frameset used from a member here, then outfitted it with more used gear from here and Pricepoint.com.
Vision cockpit
Race Face cranks and BB with a Vision tt ring
Tektro brakes
ebay TT saddle (sooo comfy)
105 der's shifters and pedals.
