Oddly enough much of the media I've been watching over the last couple months have been expressly stating the rate is down because fewer and fewer people are looking for work NOT because more jobs are being created.

Yes.

As evidence, I present the fact that I am an average American, and I understand what it means.

Sir, not to pat yourself on the back, but from my experience you and most people on this board are "Above average" when it comes to issues of economics, politics and general understanding of how the world works.

Your "Average American" knows more information about what happened to the Kardasheins last week or how their favorite sports team is doing than the existence of U-6 and U-3 unemployment.

No.

These people typically are not swayed by "Facts". They are swayed by nice speeches, good looks and a neat package. The majority of Americans vote on these issues, not policies. In short for these people unemployment, unless it's their own, doesn't factor into their vote.

That being said it's the people that DO understand and DO base their vote on the issues that sway the outcome

Will this be a game changer for Specialized, in both sales and product design, or will it not move the sales and design needle versus those in Specialized's competitive set?
