What I liked about the women was that they were bad asses but in a very realistic manner. Starbuck wasn't stronger than the men, but she was a great tactician, marksman, and pilot, all skills that are very realistic for a woman to excel at. Oh, and she wasn't tainty....she was very tomb boyish....which apperently is the opposite of the actress' personality.

I was absolutely stunned by the casting of Starbuck as a woman. But, it did not take long to fall in love with her. Great character. Sometimes, a bit too much of a chip on her shoulder, but, she was awesome.

I'm just curious where the story goes from here.
I assume they leave the barn. But, who will be the next villain?

Well, based on the episode tonight, Carl was NOT aiming at Rick. Carl did not know what happened with Shane. He asked his father. He assumed they had been attacked. So, he did not see Rick kill Shane and, therefore, had no reason to point the gun at Rick. He was, evidently, focused on zombie Shane.

On "talking dead" they kept referencing a prison scene. I must have totally missed it. Where was it? I would like to go back and check it out. Thanks.

Anyone else watch "Talking Dead?" I have never, and wasn't sure if it was any good (not sure I want to take my zombie watching habits any further though)

X2! Every week I think to myself that she could not be any more annoying, and then she out-does herself the very next episode. When her and Carl were boo-hooing over the demise of Shane I was hoping a zombie would jump out of the woods and off them slowly and painfully.

I believe that is in the next season. Assuming they follow the general plot of the graphic novels (I have not read them, only saw references to them), they will encounter a prison in early in the next season. If you noticed, at the very end of the show last night, when the camera pulled back, in the distance you saw a huge structure. That was the prison. They will find it early in season 3 and settle in. My guess is that all of season 3 will take place there. It is at the prison where they encounter The Governor. Season 3 will likely end with the attack on the prison by The Governor and his army.

I haven't read the graphic novels, so I want to know who the cloaked character with the sword was at the end of last night's episode. Good guy, bad guy? I'm assuming the 2 people with no arms chained to him were walkers, but couldn't they still bite? Why would it be helpful to have 2 walkers chained to you? Wouldn't this just slow you down? I'm confused.

That is Michonne. Good guy (girl actually). The two walkers are (supposed to be) her boyfriend and his best friend. She cut off the arms and removed their lower jaws so they cannot attack. Why? Well, she is messed up and used to be a lawyer. 'Nuff said.

How is this, according to the latest comic, rick actually was dead in the hospital but was reanimated by the airborn virus, however he is the only person in the world that is immune to it turning him into a walker/zombie. It is rumored that the child blood his wife is carrying will be the cure.
guess we'll see in a few years when the series gets that far
