I suggested "Shake You Down" by Gregory Abbott to the former Mrs. Sancho.. Needless to say, the former Mrs. Sancho was not amused and 'Shake You Down" was not the song we chose.
**All of these words finding themselves together were greatly astonished and delighted for assuredly, they had never met before**

Really? Nice song. That scene always bring manly tears to my eyes (definitely manly, because I'm tough and rugged, you know). I saw it it in the theater when I was about 6 or 7.

Because the song is a thing of romantic beauty of course and my wife picked it! I was thoughtfully insulated from most of the wedding details. In fact, if memory serves I think the piano version was played when the wedding party was coming in at the actual wedding.

We had a jazz band just improvising and doing free form. There weren't any actual songs performed. They played non-stop for 2 1/2 hours, just flowing the whole time.
A couple of the guests joined in now and then (one guest acoustic guitar and the other clarinet).
We we all pretty juiced.

My brother's wedding had a small live combo. We went to school with the drummer and the keyboard player was a professor in the music department. My brother, I, and the 3rd person in his wedding party all played the trombone (they are pro's and I played in college) so we traded solos over red red wine. It went over pretty well.

Anyone else that didn't have a dance after their wedding?
My wife and I had a small wedding(30 guests) and the reception was at a restaurant with an open bar before dinner. We hired a guitar player to play during the wedding and during the reception.

Married by a justice of the peace. Got married between a domestic violence case and a B& E charge. No one was there except our 4 year old son and 4 year old niece. No party after. Really pissed off my mom.

my wife loves big band music - and dancing to it. We had a 17 piece band and we danced to a fox trot - don't recall which tune.

We danced to From the Clouds by Jack Johnson.
However, our wedding party came in to DJ Kool's "Let Me Clear my Throat" and we came in to "Money for Nothing" starting about 45 seconds into the song, you know the part.
