Andy looks pretty relaxed in that breakaway group. I hope he actually maintains the gap because that kind of move was BALLSY as I'll get out and exactly what my main criticism of his tour riding had been.
Anyone else see the super sketch near crash by Andy on the descent? That was interesting to say the least.

It looked like they were all staring at each other hoping someone else would chase. On the descent, Contador was letting Voeckler and Europcar do the work while he sat in the back! As if Voeckler had more to lose than Contador. I know he's in yellow, but his chances of winning the whole shebang weren't outstanding either way.

no, if Andy holds the lead of the race by over a minute. Which is looking likely. Not if he just wins the stage by a minute.
It's almost a 4 minute lead now. Just dumn riding by the chasers OR Andy is way out of their league.
Either way - he's capitalised on his fitness or their stupidity and deserves to be where he is.

Right now he's roughly 2:30 "virtual" GC lead on Evans (not counting Voeckler anymore). People are assuming Andy needs 1:30 advantage over Evans going into the TT (of course there is tomorrow as well).
