Sled came in last Wednesday and I've been fiddling with the fit since then.
I started with the 'high stem' (it comes that way out of the box) and quickly dropped out all the spacers - easily still 20-40mm too high.
Installed the 'medium stem' and I've been putting in 'getting to know you' trainer rides with no spacers.
I may add 10mm or 20mm worth of spacers... it depends on how I feel in a few more weeks.

This is a medium frame and it fits me well (6'1"). I'm slightly short legs/long torso and quite flexible.
Both the front end and BB are very stiff. I won't be using it outside for a few more weeks, so no real testing yet.
Tons of room for any disc cover or disc. Powertap Carbone SL's on with cover now, but still working on a mount for Edge 705.

I really like the Trinity Advanced SL and regarding a mount for the Garmin, the Profile thingimajigi on my Scott Plasma 3 works great

Those Giants always look so long to me! Nice rig, though.

You may want to consider weeding and pruning on the other side of that fence. And your kid needs to pick up the toys left out in the weather. ;-)

That's what I was kind of hinting at in my post. I'm 6'1" and I would be SOL on a large.
If I was even an inch shorter a small may have been the way to go.
Claimed max. saddle hegiht on a small is 740mm, and I'm 767mm, so medium is it.
Good thing the seatpost has an ~78o position and the saddle has rails..lol.

As far as drop...that's where the 10-30mm of spacers may be added.
I'll try it as is and see how things work.
I had a Selle Italia Optima Tecknologika on it initially... but that felt like I was putting a corkscrew through my prostate.
I think I can handle the extra ~2-3cm drop, but I'l have to test once the weather gets better and see if there is any power loss going that much lower.
Maybe more stretching between now and then.

I wanted the SL0 as I have a thing for blue bikes, but seeing that it would cost $8500 more than I paid... I can get used to red...lol.
Red is faster anyways, right?

Sick bike,

Regarding computer mount, just get this: http://www.trisports.com/computermount.html. Don't know why people resort to an Erector set of plastic and zip ties when this easily solves the problem.

Um, yeah. That's one HOT ride, especially with the flat stem and zero spacers. Congrats!

Extra style points if you lose the wheel & cover decals (and use the black plastic fasteners, or black tape)

The majority of my rides are de-decalled. This will be my only 'loud' bike.
I am using black tape on the disc cover... the white spots where the fasteners would be are actually little circles of white electrical tape on the inside.

I won't de-decal those wheels, but I do have another set of Cosmic Carbone SL Powertaps with the darker stickers.
Option 2 would be black bar tape and the darker wheelset.

Fair enough.

I too would like to see your fit coordinates (in your profile).

Do you like the cover with the carbones? Also, do you train on the carbones or keep them for racing?

My slice came with cosmic elites, which are great for training I think, but really am thinking carbone sl's with cover would be pretty slick race set up.

Thanks!

Added fit coordinates.

A: Saddle height 764 mm
B: Plumb line, saddle nose to BB -10 mm
C: Cockpit (nose to extension tip) 804 mm
D: Armrests to extension tip 338 mm
E: Armrests drop -180 mm
F: Saddle nose to armrest back 495 mm
G: Armrest width 160 mm

Comments:
Middle Stem - No Spacers (Stack 498mm - from Giant manual, not measured)
Using front (77.5 degree) post position

This is pending the possible addition of up to 20mm spacers... as of now (no spacers) it looks like this (warning - tilted and crap quality photo):

I think it will work with minor tweaks... I just need to stay off the bonbons and stretch more often.
No pains/aches riding so far. No power testing yet (weather has not cooperated).

Hey bud,

I found your post on this site which made me sign up ...

I'm in a process getting a Trinity SL frameset. I'm 6 feet tall and my seat height is 75 cm. I believe I fit into a size M @ 78 degrees. However, I'm a bit worry about the reach to the extension bars, what's your take on that?

Just curious, how did you draw those angles on that picture and calculate each angle?

I would also like to know the answer to that.
