wetsuit fit
Can't Post
I am having trouble finding a wetsuit that fits right. I seem to be rather big chested/shoulders for my waist and height. Basically a water hydrant. I am 5'6 and weigh 153 with a 40 inch chest and a 31-32 inch waist .Ive tried orca and zoot and both dont work. Mostly because the chest is way too restrictive for the the right height and suits that are the right chest extend a foot below my feet. I have swam for years in an old sleeveless QR but am looking to IMAZ this november as a possibly colder swim and need a new suit anyway.I dont have any QR dealers nearby to go and try the suits unfortunately.
Any thoughts would help.

May want to give the DeSoto 2-piece suit a try as you can size the top and bottom seperately to get exactly what you need. I'm very happy with mine!

everyone says try Desoto, and as an owner of Desoto I have to disagree with the blanket "2 piece allows for all to fit comment"... large chests and big arms of a built male necessitate the move to a larger desoto top size, whereas such a larger desoto top size will eventually so big that the length is too long, or the sleeves too long, etc... It may work for you, depending on many factors, but I am excited personally to try a blueseventy.. looking at their size charts I think they have options for those of triathletes who don't care about the "will weightlifting help me s/b/r" debate and do so anyway! With that said, I love Desoto, (thankfully cannot comment about their customer service, the ultimate testimony), wear their shorts, tops, etc. and will consider them when replacing my suit which no longer fits, but I fear it won't work for my needs... lets us know what you find out
