Was this just one anomalous value of 61mph or was the average speed for the whole ride above normal? What about the distance recorded, was that what you would have expected. If the average and distance are okay then it is probably just a freak sensor value, on the other hand if distance and average are wrong as well as the max then the wheel circumference may be incorrect. ( Although it would have to be out by some margin to report 61mph max, unless you were riding very fast downhill )
