Any magnet + 3M VHB tape = disc magnet.

TINY magnets, the one I use is 1/16 of an inch thick & much stronger than the magnets that come with cycle computers. I've also used it for over a year being held on with just a strip of electrical tape.
Good luck,

I use rare earth magnets from radio shack. $2 for 3pk. They are about 1/2 the size of a pencil eraser. Glue it to some electrical tape and stick it on the disc.

Second that, cheap and effective.

I'll go you one step better. I glued mine to the INSIDE of my disc, just inside the opening for the valve stem. Completely invisible, but those rare earth magnets are strong enough to do the job from inside.

How about high energy magnetic tape:

being kinda soft, you can wack it with a hammer a few times and add your own dimples!

I bought a package of small round magnets at the hardware store then put it on my Zipp disc with a small glob of this sticky grey bathroom type caulk (doesnt dry and leaves no residue) then I finished it off with a little spot of trim adhesive to keep it form walking out on the rim and flying off due to centripetal forces. Both adhesives are removable without de-laminating the disc's cover.

Come to think of it-I got so many magnets in one package and have a roll of the adhesive tape I can send it to you if your in the US. Probabnly cost less than a $1 so I wont charge anything. if your elsewhere its probably not worth the postage. all youd need ot do is tack it in place with some adhesive. Shoe-Goo works great as does car trim adhesive. I especially recommend shoe goo. A TINY little drop is all you need.

Ditto on the KJ Magnetics. That and "mounting squares" from any craft store makes the exact config I've been running on my Renn disk for 2 years.

Anyone here with closeup pictures?
I really want to get the sensor off my fork and onto the chainstay where the air is already relatively dirty...
