help with rear cage holder? Can't Post

Hey, folks: I was given a Bontrager Race X Lite rear cage holder as a lagniappe when I got my tri bike last year. It looks kind of cool, and on those hot training days I'd appreciate being able to carry 4 bottles on the bike. But when I put 2 full bike bottles in the cages (40 oz = 2.5 lb), the holder inevitably rotates downward, so that the bottles are facing backwards - then downwards - and then, of course, they fall out. :-)

I noted this to the LBS, and they took it off & retightened it. Didn't work. I did the same thing. Gave it all the elbow grease I could muster (ok, perhaps not that much :-). Still didn't work. The fasteners are knurled, so you'd think that when properly tightened the grip would be very tight, but that hasn't been my experience.

So: any experience with this problem? Any solutions? Should I try a chemical solution like Loctite?

Thanks in advance, Richard Nelson

superglue.

but to be honest, I can't honestly see an improvement over this at all...unless of course spending big bucks for plastic is a popular endeavor.....

I agree with Martin C except for the cages. I use these http://www.specialized.com/...oduct.jsp?spid=25169 with exellent results.
