I don't know if they're selling it, but my goodness Andreas Raelert will be on a stunning looking bicycle.

Culprit will be showing their non rideable prototype of the new Culprit legend to media in Kona. But unfortunately we have no booth at the expo this year. . You will hopefully read about it on Thursday or Friday online and possibly see it being pushed around on Friday.

Really looking forward to it, and well done for keeping your promise. Will you be seeking crowd funding for turning the prototype into reality?

De Soto will be debuting a number of new products starting with a limited Edition Kona collection. You don't need to go to Kona to get them though. You can order them here and the product will ship to you from HP Bike Works in Kona.

I was waiting until I got here to try on this kit (even though it has been promoted on ST before) - and all I can say is it is awesome!!! The fabric is flexible and comfortable and it looks great. First purchase I made in Kona. Zero regrets.

Now about that tequila…..

HELLO KATE,

Thanks for the nice words! Yeah we think our new Mobius Comfort Compression Fabric is the hottest thing we have coming out for 2016. You are among the first in the world to own it!

As for that tequila, we will be at the HP Bike Works store located at the Kona Inn Shopping Village tuesday thru friday in the early afternoon. I will post hours here once we know them, but I will also have a bottle of Dos Almas there! Come sip some with us!

Desoto's Mobius Comfort Compression Fabric is the hottest thing we have coming out for 2016----I received my pair a few days ago. Wore them today for a 2 hour trainer ride and 45 minute run. Hard to believe how comfortable the material is. The Desoto "hits" keep coming.

Stryd will be at the Ironman expo (booth #85). Stop by to try our wearable power meter for runners. We have already started shipping to our Kickstarter supporters, and will start shipping in volume to other customers in a couple of months. Those who visit our booth will receive a discount.

On race day, Stryd will be doing live power data streaming with several athletes, including professionals Sarah Piampiano and Rafael Gonçalves, elite amateur Steven Mantell (second place overall finisher with the second fastest run split at Ironman Boulder 2015), and a dozen other competitors. Their Ironman World Championship power data will be shared live at http://www.stryd.com/kona, as well as published post-race.

We will post updates to Twitter (@strydrunning), Instagram (@strydrunning), and Facebook (www.facebook.com/teamstryd).

And the photos are up. Wide seems to be the new trend, and it makes sense as it allows the fork to flow through clean air. $1200 seems like a lot for a fork, but that's just me.

Meanwhile, Cervelo seem to be teasing that they'll have someone riding something interesting at Kona (for release in March??).

I was able to find most of the gear online earlier this week. If you Google Roka cycling, you'll come across the sites and links, even though they are not yet accessible from Rokasports.com last I checked this morning.

I like the gear but am a bit disappointed in the pricing as it seems to be at the high end... it is easier to justify higher prices for racing gear, but for training, it is a tougher pill to swallow.

Different forks for rim or disc. So not possible to run thru axle on the front wheel with rim brakes. Rear will be no problem.
