Looks like a slick new bike under Radka Vodvikova for 70.3 worlds. I imagine something similar for the Giant Kona boys in a month or so? :)

No disc?

Two wheels good. Four wheels bad.

Quite common with the girls, unfortunately. But she never asked me :)

One guess would be that the disc is too heavy with the long climb, but that is strictly a guess

Looking at the junction of the top tube & seat tube, looks like it could be an "open mold" P5....

Pink? Maybe. Maybe not. You decide.

Not really. A lot of bikes have that feature anymore (Speed Concept and Plasma 5 off the top). Plus the rest of the seat tube looks nothing like the P5.

Nice looking bike, I just wish they didn't have that type of a front brake.

Yes. Liv is Giant's female targeted brand. I'm super bummed about that brake being behind the fork because the rest of the bike looks awesome.

I don't think this is the Giant Trinity. The 2016 were raced on at the TdF, and looked drastically different.

we live in strange times where narrative has way more impact than utility or truth...

in my opinion IT IS the new "women trinity" - maybe also the men will get a different one compared to the Tom Dumolin Trinity 2016 ridden @ TdF because of the UCI rules.

... did you noticed that: http://www.giant-bicycles.com/...d.pro.1/24128/88570/

there are informations about
  • Aerovault System: integrated hydration and food/tool storage

Now were are just arguing semantics. I was responding to someone stating that this new Liv Avow was the new Giant Trinity as well. That isn't the case from what we saw at the 2015 TdF. This might be the female TT/tri bike, but it definitely isn't the new Trinity. It is its own frame.

Perhaps it's the new "TRI" Trinity? I can't see the value in making 2 different frames and offering it to different sexes. Aero is aero.

Stack and Reach provided for a Giant - was wondering if we'd ever see the day. Not that it helps much on a bike that clearly has proprietary bars.

The XXS has to be 650 based on standover, stack and HT length.

Will be interesting to see the adjustment range on those pads

Yeah you could definitely be right about that. That this is a new frame to cater to the tri community that will be made alongside the Trinity. This frame looks kinda conservative for a new tri bike. But I guess Giant as always tended to lean more towards the conservative side in their designs (maybe the Propel bucks this trend?).

Close but not quite. Was speaking to the Giant guys in Kona. They are running with a 650 up front and a 700 rear. True story.

The lower model comes with clip on bars and none if the integrated goodies. I think the diff between the other two is just components and paint. Still not convinced about the whole female fit thing but 'women in Tri' is clearly a big marketing blag at the moment so might as well jump on the bandwagon.
